The Tule Springs Stake and The Greater Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church joined together this month to host a community workshop. During the event they distributed 100 backpacks and supplies to children and youth in their community.
They invited various professionals to shared their talents and knowledge during a basic skills workshop on topics such as mental health, dangers of vaping, fire extinguisher safety, hands only CPR, resume writing and interviewing skills, safety, bullying, and scholarships/FAFSA.
It was a great event that brought the interfaith community closer together.
