What is a Giving Machine?

Light the World Giving Machines are big red vending machines that provide a way for people to easily help those in need and to make the Christmas season a little more meaningful for themselves and for countless others. Rather than getting a candy bar at a vending machine, buy food, clothing, and other items for those in need here in our community and around the world. Visit a Giving Machine near you!

Local nonprofit beneficiaries at Downtown Summerlin this year include The Just One Project, Baby’s Bounty, Eyecare 4 Kids, The Salvation Army and the Tyler Robinson Foundation. International nonprofits include Clubfoot Solutions, Mentors International, and Splash. Local nonprofits at the Giving Machine’s second location at The District at Green Valley Ranch include Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada, Foster Kinship, Future Smiles, Helping Hands of Vegas Valley, and Three Square.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints sponsors the machines and 100% of your donation goes to the charity you choose.

In 2024, visitors gave generously of themselves in Southern Nevada with nearly 19,000 purchases of meals, infant and senior support, and educational materials that totaled $565,329.
