Living prophets, apostles, and leaders from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will share messages of love, hope and joy. The First Presidency encourages, “all to listen to, study, ponder, and apply the counsel given.” To make your experience more meaningful, learn how you can prepare.
The 196th Semiannual General Conference will be streamed and broadcast live, allowing individuals and families to participate everywhere. The four 2-hour sessions are scheduled for 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. (PDT) on Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4. Conference messages will be published in the Gospel Library app, on ChurchofJesusChrist.org, and in Church magazines for later viewing and study.
General conference is an opportunity for members around the world to gather and learn about the gospel of Jesus Christ. The semiannual meetings (April and October) originate from the Conference Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. Regular Sunday services are not held in Church meetinghouses during General Conference.
