The Las Vegas Young Single Adult Gathering Place provides a welcoming environment for single adults ages 18–35 to build community, develop friendships, and strengthen their relationship with God.
Open Tuesday through Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and Sundays from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., the Gathering Place offers both spiritual and social opportunities throughout the week. “The Gathering Place is a place that is truly inspired,” said Malili Toailoa, a Gathering Place participant. “The leaders truly are connected with the Lord, and I think that just shows how many prayers are being said right now.”
Activities at the Gathering Place range from pickleball and line dancing to Dungeons & Dragons and a book club. A recreation room is available daily during operating hours, and console gaming is offered on Thursday nights. On Sundays, participants may also join a choir that is preparing to sing for an upcoming Walk With Jesus Easter event, as well as a Come, Follow Me study group focused on the Old Testament. For some attendees, these activities offer opportunities to try something new. “It’s been a good time to develop a new skill or hobby and also meet new people,” said Hannah Dean, who is learning country swing at the Gathering Place.
Participants can also take part in Institute of Religion classes offered in both English and Spanish, as well as enrichment courses such as Emotional Resilience and English Connect. English Connect is a free course designed to help individuals learn or improve
their English-language skills. Dinner is provided Tuesday through Thursday evenings at 8:15 p.m., offering an
additional opportunity for fellowship and connection.
For many young adults, the Gathering Place has become a source of consistency and encouragement. “My favorite part of coming to the Gathering Place is that I have something to look forward to every day,” said Dunncan Ginez.
Thomas Hernandez described the Gathering Place as a place of comfort and belonging. “It’s kind of like a refuge, where you can find a lot of people with the same beliefs,” he said.
The Las Vegas Young Single Adult Gathering Place is located at 6100 Alta Dr., Las Vegas, NV 89107. Young single adults ages 18–35 in the area are invited to attend and are encouraged to bring friends as they participate in activities, classes, and opportunities for connection throughout the week.
Together, these experiences highlight the Gathering Place as a space where young single adults can feel supported, engaged, and spiritually nourished as they navigate an important season of life.
