Giving Machine Kiosks Bless Lives

Giving Machine Kiosks Bless Lives

The 2025 Light the World Giving Machine kiosks gave residents of Southern Nevada a unique and memorable way to follow Jesus Christ’s invitation to “love thy neighbor” (Matthew 22:39).

Beginning November 12, 2025 and running through January 1, 2026, visitors to the Giving Machine kiosks at Downtown Summerlin and The District at Green Valley Ranch generated donations over $600,000 in the purchase of 19,127 items for those in need.

In the coming months, each of those items will be delivered to individuals in need — whether they live across the street or around the world.

2025 Giving Machine Impact

During the 2025 Giving Machine season in Las Vegas and Henderson, 13 nonprofits participated, offering over60 different items for donation.

As these donations are delivered in the coming months, their collective impact will be significant:

  • Over 100,000 meals will help feed the hungry.
  • Babies will receive diapers, baby bottles, car seats and more, providing them with much needed necessities of life.
  • Medical care, including eye care, dental healthcare, life-changing clubfoot braces, and cancer care items will impact the well-being of thousands.
  • Elderly residents will receive medical transportation, home repairs, and comfort items, providing much needed support during challenging years of their life.
  • Thousands of miles away, chickens and goats will help hundreds of families improve their livelihoods. In refugee camps, where jobs and resources are hard to come by, owning goats helps families break down barriers. And now, even more families will be able to unlock opportunities.

In 2025, nearly 1 million people visited Giving Machine kiosks worldwide in 126 cities across 21 countries on six continents. Since the first Giving Machine initiative began in 2017, approximately US$70 million has been donated through the initiative.Since the Giving Machine kiosks arrived in Southern Nevada in 2019, they have generated over $3.9 million in donations to local and global nonprofit organizations.

Elder Ronald A. Rasband of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles said, “Jesus of Nazareth went about doing good. I can think of no better gift we can give the Savior than to love one another as He did. The Giving Machine initiative is a beautiful way to do just that.” The Giving Machine experience has become much more than a charitable act. It has become a meaningful Christmas tradition in Southern Nevada that is centered on service and compassion.

The red Giving Machine kiosks are sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The Church covers all operational costs, ensuring that 100% of the donations are given to those in need through participating organizations.
