12 月 11 日星期一晚上，洛甘代爾聖約翰福音傳道者天主教堂對所有人進行了盛情歡迎。這次活動是為整個社區舉辦的一個特別的普世聖誕節。  

天主教會與耶穌基督後期聖徒教會洛根代爾支聯會的成員合作舉辦了這一節日活動，旨在團結不同信仰的人們，歡樂地慶祝耶穌的誕生。  

Father Henry P. Salditos, the local parish administrator of St. John’s, extended a warm welcome to all; and Brandon Leavitt, president of the Logandale Nevada Stake, opened the evening with a heartfelt prayer. Nearly 400 patrons were in attendance at the service.  

An instrumental ensemble of musicians from various faiths accompanied the congregation as they sang the familiar carol, “O Come All Ye Faithful,” to open the meeting. 

亨利神父在開幕致詞中將這個夜晚描述為一個獨特的時刻，兩種不同的信仰在真正的聖誕節精神中融合在一起。

“Tonight, we learned we are a little more alike than different,” President Leavitt said.  “We love our families, we love peace, we love Christ, and we worship Him.  May your Christmas season be full of the joy of Christ.”  

活動結束後，與會者相互交流並享用由兩種信仰的人們準備的糖果。
