Community leaders, organizations, and individuals invited to nominate volunteers making a lasting difference
As America prepares to celebrate its 250th Anniversary in 2026, JustServe is proud to collaborate with America Gives, a nationwide initiative of America250 designed to inspire unprecedented levels of volunteer service across the country.
America Gives encourages individuals, families, organizations, and communities to increase their volunteer efforts and community impact throughout 2026. The initiative’s ambitious goal is to make America’s 250th Anniversary a record-setting year for volunteer service, demonstrating the power of citizens working together to strengthen communities nationwide.
To recognize those leading by example, JustServe Las Vegas is bestowing 250 JustServe Heart of Service Awards in 2026, honoring extraordinary volunteers whose dedication, leadership, and commitment bring people together and create meaningful, lasting change. The award celebrates individuals who embody the spirit of service and showcase how everyday acts of kindness can transform neighborhoods, organizations, and lives.
Nominations are now open for volunteers whose efforts inspire others to serve and help build stronger, more connected communities. Organizations, clubs, youth groups, and individuals are encouraged to recognize those whose service exemplifies the values of compassion, leadership, and community engagement.
“When we serve together, we strengthen families, neighborhoods, and our nation,” said JustServe representatives. “The Heart of Service Award shines a spotlight on those whose selfless contributions inspire others and demonstrate the extraordinary impact of volunteerism.”
Community members are invited to nominate deserving volunteers and help celebrate the individuals making a difference every day.

Dress for Success Southern Nevada relies on community donations to provide professional clothing to women in need in our community. Volunteers are regularly needed to help with the intake and processing of donated clothing and accessories including shoes, handbags and jewelry. Volunteers are generally needed on Wednesday or Saturday between 8 am – 2 pm (specific shift times vary).
