12 月 11 日星期一晚上，洛根代尔的圣约翰福音天主教堂为所有人举行了热烈的欢迎仪式。这是为整个社区举办的一次特殊的基督教圣诞节活动。  

该天主教会与耶稣基督后期圣徒教会洛根代尔支联会的成员合作举办了这次节日活动，旨在让不同信仰的人们团结起来，欢庆耶稣的诞生。  

Father Henry P. Salditos, the local parish administrator of St. John’s, extended a warm welcome to all; and Brandon Leavitt, president of the Logandale Nevada Stake, opened the evening with a heartfelt prayer. Nearly 400 patrons were in attendance at the service.  

An instrumental ensemble of musicians from various faiths accompanied the congregation as they sang the familiar carol, “O Come All Ye Faithful,” to open the meeting. 

亨利神父在开幕词中表示，这个夜晚是两个不同信仰在真正的圣诞精神中融合的独特时刻。

“Tonight, we learned we are a little more alike than different,” President Leavitt said.  “We love our families, we love peace, we love Christ, and we worship Him.  May your Christmas season be full of the joy of Christ.”  

节目结束后，与会者互相交流并享用了由两个宗教的人士准备的甜点。
