The Giving Machines are now open at The District at Green Valley Ranch and Downtown Summerlin. The first purchases were made at The District by UNLV Runnin’ Rebels basketball players, led by former coach Lon Kruger, and current Runnin’ Rebels coach Kevin Kruger. The crowd was also fortunate to hear from all ten of the local nonprofits with items in this year’s Giving Machines:

聖誕節期間，耶穌基督後期聖徒教會邀請世界各地的人們透過小而簡單的方式幫助和服務他人來照亮世界。

「點亮世界」計畫的一個獨特、有趣且令人難忘的方面是廣受歡迎的捐贈機。這些客製化的自動販賣機讓大眾可以向世界各地有需要的人捐贈必要的產品和服務。捐贈機的物品通常包括食物、清潔水、醫療保健、衣物、教育支援、衛生用品，甚至還有牲畜，例如雞、山羊、豬和蜂巢。

每筆捐款的百分之百將捐給參與的非營利組織，用於購買和運送捐贈物品。這是因為耶穌基督後期聖徒教會承擔了捐贈機的所有營運成本。
