The Giving Machines are now open at The District at Green Valley Ranch and Downtown Summerlin. The first purchases were made at The District by UNLV Runnin’ Rebels basketball players, led by former coach Lon Kruger, and current Runnin’ Rebels coach Kevin Kruger. The crowd was also fortunate to hear from all ten of the local nonprofits with items in this year’s Giving Machines:

圣诞节期间，耶稣基督后期圣徒教会邀请世界各地的人们通过小而简单的方式帮助和服务他人来照亮世界。

“点亮世界”倡议的一个独特、有趣且令人难忘的亮点是广受欢迎的捐赠机。这些定制的自动售货机让公众可以向世界各地有需要的人捐赠必要的产品和服务。捐赠机的物品通常包括食物、净水、医疗服务、衣物、教育支持、卫生用品，甚至还有鸡、山羊、猪和蜂箱等牲畜。

每笔捐款的百分之百将拨给参与的非营利组织，用于购买和运送捐赠物品。这是因为耶稣基督后期圣徒教会承担了“捐赠机”的所有运营成本。
