The 10th Annual Community Day of Prayer was held on November 2, 2025, at the Caliente Fire Hall, bringing together friends, families, and congregations from across the area in a beautiful spirit of unity and faith. Conducted by Maggie Orr, the program opened with the audience singing “My Country ’Tis of Thee” before prayers were offered by Kathy Hiatt from Christ Episcopal Church, Sean Stewart, Stake President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and Pastor Sili Latu from Caliente Community United Methodist Church.
Music throughout the evening uplifted and inspired all who were in attendance. Youth performers Emmy Johnson and Molly Willingham, accompanied by Salem Roisum shared a beautiful musical number, “Just Pray.” Additional music was provided by the Caliente Community United Methodist Church, Victory Life Church. The Holy Child Catholic Church Choir performance of “Hallelujah” was especially moving. A quiet time of silent prayer allowed everyone to reflect and offer personal petitions.
The Spirit attended the gathering, and a wonderful sense of community filled the room as neighbors joined together in gratitude and faith, celebrating both the blessings of freedom and the power of prayer. While we may worship in different buildings, we all strive to do God’s will and together have the greatest impact.
