Light the World Giving Machines are big red vending machines that provide a way for people to easily help those in need and to make the Christmas season a little more meaningful for themselves and for countless others.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints sponsors the machines and 100% of your donation goes to the charity you choose.
In 2024, visitors generously gave of themselves in Southern Nevada with nearly 19,000 purchases of meals, infant and senior support, and educational materials that totaled $565,329.
So, imagine swiping your credit card and buying a goat for a family in a third-world country to start a business or a pair of shoes for a homeless high school student in Southern Nevada.

Each machine at a location offers an identical selection of items representing global and local organizations that do good.
Each machine accepts credit cards (swipe and tap) and mobile payments. Sorry, no cash or credit card chips.
Enter a phone number or email address to receive a digital receipt. 100% of your donation will go to the applicable charity.
All contributions purchase the items listed and are delivered by the non-profit through their organization. 100% of your donation is contributed directly to the item’s purchased, or in case of supply issues, an similar item of equal value.
Cards are loaded into the Giving Machine with images of the items being donated. You can then input the code assigned to each item and purchase it on the keypad. The card will drop into the machine to be collected and delivered to the non-profit as proof of purchase.
