On New Year’s Day 2024, President Russell M. Nelson of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints posted on his social media accounts.
President Nelson tells the story of how he and Sister Nelson visited Machu Picchu in the mountains of Peru years before and that it was a marvelous experience. He goes on to say: “On this—my 100th New Year’s Day—I both marvel and rejoice at the miracle of the birth of Jesus Christ, His life, His ministry, His mission, and more.”
President Nelson discusses many things that he marvels at and then ends by offering this reminder to all stating: “May we strive this new year to marvel and rejoice at the privileges and opportunities our Father in Heaven and our Redeemer Jesus Christ provide.”
