The Aliante Stake Youth were excited to participate in Global Youth Service Day 2023. The Stake worked directly with Councilwoman Ruth Anderson and the City of North Las Vegas to plan and carry out the opportunity to serve their community. The youth were able to beautify the Desert Horizon Park by planting bushes and trees, spreading rock, and picking up litter.
Erica Nelson, Stake Communication Director said: “A special thanks goes out to the many community volunteers who helped us with our project, including Councilwoman Anderson, The City of North Las Vegas, North Las Vegas Fire Department, and The Shine City Project.
