On February 27, 2026, members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Henderson Nevada were honored to welcome Muslim friends from Silver Sage, along with Henderson City Mayor Michelle Romero and Henderson Councilmen Dan Stewart and Jim Seebock, to an Iftar dinner at a local house of worship. 

Together the fast was broken and our shared faith in God, our love of family, and our commitment to building a strong and united community was celebrated. It is beautiful to see how across these different traditions, we are reminded that what unites us is far greater than what divides us.

We are grateful for the true spirit of friendship, respect, and understanding that filled the evening.
