The youth and their leaders in the Eagle Canyon Ward held a 15 mile service walk in April to the Las Vegas Temple. The walk was part of Youth Global Service Day. As they walked the 15 miles, they collected trash in an effort to clean up their community. They were also able to hand out food and water to those in need along the way.
The 15 mile walk was not an easy one and pushed all who participated by testing their endurance.
One of the youth leaders, Kenny Eliason, stated: “When we finally reached the temple grounds and sat on the lawn, an overwhelming sense of accomplishment washed over us. Exhausted yet elated, we had conquered our doubts and grown stronger, both individually and as a group. The Las Vegas Temple Walk was truly an awe-inspiring experience for all involved.”
